WEDDING CONGRATULATIONS

Congratulations to Marie Fallon and Peter Grey, Dublin, who were married last Saturday at St Thomas the Apostle Church, Callow, Foxford, Co Mayo.  We wish them long life and happiness together.

COMMUNITY GAMES
Cashel’s Under-13 Boys and Girls Basketball teams were in action recently but both faced very strong opposition and despite their great efforts neither team made it through to the finals.  The Boys’ team, versus Killoe, were Jamie Birmingham, Brian Kelly, Eoin Mulvihill, Conor Skelly, Daniel Farrell and David Sweeney.  The Girls’ Team, against Longford North, were Lisa Dowd, Emma Casey, Molly Fox, Áine Bannon, Lauren Casey, Seoige Mulvihill and Sarah Farrell.  Great credit is due to Joe Mulvihill for coaching the teams.  Well done to the players for their determination and enthusiasm as many of them were new to the game and some will be eligible for the next couple of years.  WE look forward to seeing them all the stronger for next year!

SYMPATHY
We extend our sincere sympathy to the family, neighbours and friends of Dan Dolan, Drumnee, who died on Wednesday April 11th.  May he rest in peace.

JUNIOR CHOIR
The Junior Choir will hold a rehearsal on Saturday April 21st, from 5.30pm – 6.30pm.  The Choir will provide the liturgical music at the Do This In Memory Mass on Sunday April 22nd, at 10.30am.  We look forward to a full attendance.  Well done to everybody who participated in the Do This In Memory Mass on Holy Thursday evening and the Children’s Mass on Easter Sunday morning.

EUCHARISTIC CONGRESS
Packs containing programme booklets and copies of the Congress Prayer are available in the church porches.  The booklet gives details of events and activities in the RDS with dates and times.
