SAORVIEW
A public meeting about the switchover to digital television service will be held in "The Hill" on Tuesday June 26th at 8.30pm.  Valerie Maguire will attend to answer questions.  All are welcome.

END OF YEAR MASS
Cloontagh National School End of Year Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday 26th at 10.00am.  The Mass will be followed by the raising of the school’s second Green Flag.  Congratulations to the staff and pupils on their achievement!

NEWTOWNCASHEL DEFIBRILLATOR GROUP
Newtowncashel Defibrillator Group will hold a meeting on Tues 26th June in the GAA Clubhouse at 8pm.  We are especially appealing to the people in the Derryhaun and Elfeet areas to attend as we are anxious to place the remaining two defibrillators. Training will be provided for the people in these areas.

CELEBRITY BAINISTEÓIR
Cashel GAA Club has been selected for participation in the RTÉ programme “Celebrity Bainisteóir”.  There was widespread excitement with the announcement, and much speculation as to the identity of the Cashel “bainisteóir” who will be revealed in July.

CAIRDE BEAG OPEN DAY AND ENROLMENT
Cairde Beag Pre-School and Childminding Facility, Carrowbeg, are holding their Open Day on Tuesday July 3rd, from 9.30am to 12.30pm.  Anyone wishing to enrol their child for September 2012 is invited to attend.  There will be a bouncing castle, face painting, fun and refreshments!  If you would like any further information please contact Sile on (043) 332 5889 or (086) 317 5753.

KELLOGG’S GAA CUL CAMP
As school holidays are almost upon us our focus now changes to our local Kellogg’s GAA Cúl Camp. As in previous years these camps provide boys and girls – between the ages of 6 and 13 – with an action-packed and fun-filled week of activity during the summer holidays which revolves around maximising enjoyment and sustaining participant involvement in Gaelic Games while also supplying each child with a full kit and gear bag. This year our local camp will take place again in Lanesboro from 30th July to 3rd August. Discounted bookings can be availed of by visiting www.gaa.ie/kelloggsculcamps. CEMETERY SUNDAYS
Saints’ Island Cemetery, August 19th; Cashel Cemetery, August 26th.  Mass and Prayers for the Dead, 6.00pm.  These Masses will replace the 10.30am Mass in the Church.

PATTERN DAY
Pattern Day will be celebrated at Lady Well, Derrydarragh, on Saturday September 8th, the Feast of the Birthday of the Blessed Virgin Mary.  Mass follows the recitation of the Rosary at 6.00pm.  This Mass will replace the Saturday evening Mass in the Church.

SLIM-A-THON

We are continuing to have community walks and cycling and everybody is welcome to come along to any of our evenings and help to keep up the morale for those competing.  Sponsorship cards are available from any of the officials and you can sponsor any of the participants.

Newtowncashel Toddler Group will continue throughout the summer months and meets next on Tuesday July 3rd.  See you then!
