NEWTOWNCASHEL DRAMA
This week Newtowncashel Drama Group will stage "Too Close To Home" by Jimmy Keary. This three act play will open on the night of Thursday the 5th and continue through the nights of the 6th, 7th and 8th March, in The Hill, Newtowncashel. Set in the present day our talented local cast will introduce a host of colourful characters. This riotous comedy offers an insight into the life of James Ryan an aspiring playwright. Ryan is attempting to write his first three act play despite the disapproval of his wife Trish and disdain of their family. Struggling for inspiration he decides to write about what he knows and thinking they will never see it, he bases his play on his in-laws and their marital strife. The situation explodes on opening night, with hilarious consequences.  We operate a ticket only policy to ensure no overcrowding or cramped seating, please call 086 252 1536 to reserve tickets. Price is €10 for adults and third level and €5 for primary and secondary school children. Doors opening at 8:00pm and play commencing at 8:30pm. We hope you can join us for a great nights entertainment in the fine tradition of amateur drama!
