Newtowncashel Drama Group are delighted to announce that the following are the dates for their spring production of 'Cat among Pigeons', a hilarious  comedy, not to be missed  by Tom O Brien. WEDDING
We extend congratulations to both Oliver Costello, and Sarah Doran, Enfield who were married recently. We wish the couple many years of health wealth and happiness together.

DEATH.
We extend our deepest sympathies to Nora Nolan and family on the death of her brother Martin Bryce who died recently in London. May his Soul Rest in peace.

CHURCH GROUNDS
The tree cutting and trimming that was carried out in and around the Church Grounds look fantastic and indeed enhances the Village.

FIBRE BROADBAND LIVE IN NEWTOWNCASHEL
Fibre Technology has been laid along these routes at the end of 2018 and is now live to 200 homes/businesses marked on the map. For approximately 90-95% of these premises fibre will be delivered directly into the home enabling speeds of up to 1000Mb/s (1Gb/s), with 5-10% of premises served with superfast broadband of up to 100Mb/s.

FREE TRANSPORT
The Irish Cancer Society operates a free transport service for patients attending hospital for chemotherapy treatment. Volunteer Drivers pick the patient up at the door of their home, drop them at the hospital door, then when finished treatment, will pick them up and drop them home. Volunteer expenses are paid. Patients wishing to avail of this free service should contact their healthcare professional, visit the Society’s website at irishcancer.ie or contact the Irish Cancer Society for more information on 01 2310 522.
