Southern Gaels will host an U-10 Tournament Day ,this Saturday the 15th of September,from 11 a.m. in Pairc  Chiaran..Teams from Longford,Westmeath and Roscommon will participate.Please come along and support the next generation of young footballers. There will be a BBQ and refreshments served on the day.Free Admission.

LADY WELL.
Lady Well Pattern Day was held  Sunday September the 9th with Mass at 11.00 a.m.A beautiful morning in a scenic location,was witnessed by a larger turnout than previous years.

DEATH
The death occurred of Joe Flood,Greenhall on Monday last the 3rd of September.
Joe was one of life's true gentlemen,quiet spoken and a good neighbour,always ready to help those that needed it.
His love of farming and all things related,were always to the fore,throughout his long and fruitful life.
Most of all,he was a wonderful husband and father,evident by his loving family that grew up in the Flood household.
His deat will leave a great void in the lives of those who knew and loved him.
To his heartbroken wife  Mary Jo, sons and daughters Jimmy, John, Ger, Paddy,Maria (McLoughlin-Roscrea), Joseph, Michael, Breda (Slattery-Claremorris), Bernard, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, grandchildren, sister-in-law, brothers-in-law,nieces,nephews, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends,we extend our deepest sympathies in their time of grief.
May his Soul Rest in Peace.
