I.C.A.
We would like to extend a huge congratulations to three of our members Breege Kenny, Catherine Gallagher and Katie Kenny on coming second in the National table quiz. They were representing Longford in An Grianan on the 2nd of April and did Longford proud. What an achievement and well done ladies and to all who took part in the quiz. Congratulations to ICA members Tess Murphy (Ballinamuck Guild) and Elsie Moxham (Legan Guild) on their persons of the year award 2016. We would like to congratulate Paddy Egan on his award also. ICA held its AGM and monthly meeting on Tuesday last the 5th of April. We had a busy agenda and a well attend meeting by members. We wish all members the best of luck taking on new roles within our guild. A reminder that our monthly meeting takes place on the 1st Tuesday of the month and is open to new members also. The walking group is still taking place on Saturday mornings at 10am leaving from the hill.

LONGFORD MS
Longford MS" would like to thank everyone who helped in any way with their recent church gate collection especially all who donated.. The Newtowncashel collection was an astonishing €500.00.Your contributions were very much appreciated. Many thanks  to the people of Newtowncashel for their generosity.

LOURDES TRIP

DAFFODIL DAY
Mattie Reid and all the volunteers wish to thank to all  those who contributed so generously  to the recent Daffodil Day. Thanks to Thomond Lodge Nursing Home for facilitating and also the Hall Committee in Cashel.Also thanks to the Newtowncashel Drama Group for their generous donation..The total that was collected and lodged,was €1673.00.

ADORATION
Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament continues every Wednesday frpm 4.p.m to 8 p,m,.

ROSARY
Recitation of the Rosary continues Friday evening at 7.30 p.m.

NEW ARRIVAL
Congratulations to Breege Rowan and Emmet Keenan on the recent birth of their baby boy.

SYMPATHY
We extend our deepest sympathy to the family and friends of  Jimmy Casey,Killorglin,Co.Kerry and formerly Forthill,who died recently.

RATHCLINE G.A.A.
Rathcline CLG are delighted to announce that the hilariously funny, family-friendly GAA themed play "The Pull" will take place in St Mary's Hall on Saturday April 16th.  The play has been successfully "playing" all over the country and has been receiving great recommendations and wonderful reviews.

WALKING GROUP
The Walking Group continues on Saturday mornings leaving The Hill at
10.00 a.m. All are welcome.

FIRST HOLY COMMUNION
First Holy Communion will be celebrated on Sunday May the 8th at 12.00 noon.
