SOUTHERN GAELS
The local Southern Gaels  Minor Club,held a very enjoyable day out to Croke Park,last Sunday to the Longford v Dublin game. Well done to all concerned on a thoroughly professional and well ran day out for all who travelled.

FIANNA FAIL
Newtowncashel Fianna Fáil Cumann held their A.G.M. last Monday the 28th of May.It was a very well attended meeting ,with local  Councillors,Mick Cahill and Pat O Toole and Longford/Westmeath candidate in the next General Election,Joe Flaherty in attendance.
