TRAD SESSION
The Oskars Fundraiser for Ballyboro Astro Pitch,have a number of short films being filmed in the local area at the moment. Newtowncashel Drama Group are doing scenes from
John .B.Keane's .. The Field. Location filming in the parish of Newtowncashel takes place this Sunday  the 19th of May and one scene requires a Ceili in a pub ,where The Pier /Rakish Paddy is the location.
The Henshaws from Athlone, together with Irish International Rugby player Robbie, will be supplying the music for this particular scene .
They will stay on afterwards from 6 pm on ,to have a wonderful evening of music and craic. Please do come along to support.Admission is €5

FIANNA FAIL
The local Fianna Fail Cumann wishes to thank all those who supported the National Collection so generously last weekend.
The Cumann also wishes the best to Local Election candidate John Kenny in the upcoming Election.

FIRST HOLY COMMUNION
Congratulations to all the children who recieved their First Holy Communion last weekend in Cashel. The beautiful weather added to the occasion

ADORATION
Eucharastic Adoration continues on Wednesdays from 3pm to 9pm and Friday 8,30 pm to 9 pm.

ROSARY
The Rosary continues on Saturday evenings at 7.30 p.m.

LADY WELL
The Lady Well Pattern Day takes place on 8th of September at 11 a.m.

Lotto draw for Sunday  12th of May last.

FIBRE BROADBAND LIVE IN NEWTOWNCASHEL
Fibre Technology has been laid along these routes at the end of 2018 and is now live to 200 homes/businesses marked on the map. For approximately 90-95% of these premises fibre will be delivered directly into the home enabling speeds of up to 1000Mb/s (1Gb/s), with 5-10% of premises served with superfast broadband of up to 100Mb/s.

FREE TRANSPORT
The Irish Cancer Society operates a free transport service for patients attending hospital for chemotherapy treatment. Volunteer Drivers pick the patient up at the door of their home, drop them at the hospital door, then when finished treatment, will pick them up and drop them home. Volunteer expenses are paid. MACRA
Macra are looking for young people to join a new Macra club. Macra is a non profit organisation for young people 17-35,it has 6 key activities such as Agriculture,Sports,Performing Arts,Travel,Public Speaking and Community Involvoment. You dont need to be a farmer to join.
