Beautiful Barley Harbour here in Newtowncashel, a popular location amongst locals and tourists alike, was recenly targeted by vandals.
Over the weekend numerous tracks were left in the grass, along with two road signs; a stop sign and a sign for the Corlea Trackway Visitor Centre in Kenagh.
The damaged grass will recover but the more worrying thing is the removal of the stop sign from a road junction.
P.T.A.A.
The Newtowncashel Committee of the P.T.A.A. would like to thank everyone who contributed to their recent Church Gate Collection. Also,a big thank you to the large number of people from our parish who attended the regional dinner dance in the Rustic Inn on Friday the 11th of November last. After a beautiful meal, we had T.R. A reminder that the Annual Pioneer Mass for deceased members,of the Pioneer Association, will be held in Ballycloghan Church, this Friday night the 18th of November at 7.00 p.m.
