HOSPICE HOMECARE FUNDRAISER IN CASHEL
Fundraiser in aid of Longford Hospice Homecare on 27th Jan. Cycle for all ages starting at Cashel GAA clubhouse at 2pm; (registration from 1.30pm). Followed by Head and Beard Shave in the Local, Newtowncashel starting at 10pm.  Music, Refreshments and Raffle on the night. Your support would be greatly appreciated.

DEATH
The death occurred of Bridge Mulvihill, Elfeet last Monday the 8th of January. Bridge was a loving mother and wife and everyone knew her as a true lady.She always had a kind word and a smile for everyone that she encountered. Many is the story of her generosity and  readiness to help others.Her sudden passing will leave a great void in the lives of those that knew and loved her.We hope that those left behind ,will find the strength to carry on,in the days and months ahead.To  her  husband Gabriel, son Dylan,daughters Martina, Lena and Vicki, sisters Mary, Kate and Rosie, brothers Tony, Peter and Brendan, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, grandchildren Amy, Sophie, Alfie and Leah, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.,  we extend our deepest sympathies in their time of great loss.  May her Soul Rest in Peace.

IMPORTANT SCHOOL DATES
First Confession; Thursday March the 1st at 7 p.m.
First Holy Communion; Sunday May the 13th 2018 at 12 Noon Mass.

DEATH
The death occurred of Rosie Healy,Cleraune last Monday the  8th of January. Rosie was a true lady,who was always cheerful and good hearted. She was a loving mother and wife, and always had a smile,especially when she was out and about on her bicycle.
Her sudden passing will leave a great void in the lives of those that knew and loved her.We hope that those left behind ,will find the strength to carry on,in the days and months ahead.
Predeceased by her husband Michael (Mike) ,   we extend our deepest sympathies tosons Sean-Michael and Padraig, brother Johnny, daughters-in-law, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.   in their time of great loss.  May her Soul Rest in Peace.

NEW PLAY
Dolmen Drama Group are presently in rehearsals for their opening night in Backstage Theatre with their production of "See The Light Of Day" a three act play written and producted by Liam Finnegan.
The group has a mix of experienced actors as well as some new debutantes and its a show not to be missed.
The storyline centres on the McGarry household in the 1930's in rural Ireland and concludes in the 1970's. It tells the story of a small farming family and the consequences and fall out from a life changing event for the whole family.
Its set against the background of life in the fledgling free state where Church and State lines are blurred.
The production runs for two nights Feb. 3rd and 4th in the state of the art Backstage Theatre Longford.
