Co. Longford Wrenboys Championships
Dec 26th in Newtowncashel @ 3.30pm.
Sadly the tradition of hunting the Wren is dying out, but in Newtowncashel we are planning a revival. Let's not let another tradition die away, with this in mind we are planning to have the first Co. Longford Wrenboys Championships in the village on Dec 26th. It's planned to start at 3.30pm and we will have a senior and junior section. Trophy and cash prizes for winners of each section plus face painting and BBQ. Music in the local from 6pm to 9pm. We hope to have groups from around the county but it's hoped we will have a few local groups.
A great family day is in store and we will have more details in local notes when we get nearer the date. Get practicing and get the outfits ready. More details from Liam on 086 2585656 or liamfinn55@gmail.com
