CANDLE SHRINE STOLEN
The Candle Shrine was taken from The Church on the afternoon of Thursday the 13th of August last. This is really a most disappointing development and an affront to the devotional practice of many parishioners. Anyone who saw a person or persons and a vehicle at the Church, especially at or near the women's aisle,is asked to contact the Gardai. A photograph of the Shrine would be appreciated. It may feature in pictures taken at Baptism or First Holy Communion. Photographs of the Shrine would be helpful in the investigation. We thank the members of the Gardai Siochána for their prompt and diligent response to the incident.
