GOOD2TALK
Good2Talk is a non profit organisation with charitable status. We offer counselling and psychotherapy to individuals, families, couples and teenagers on a contribution basis. No more than €25, regardless of you income, you can access an effective professional counsellor within 72 hours of contacting our service. We help clients overcome low mood, panic, worry, depression, low self esteem, addiction, bereavement, anger and trauma.

BORD NA MONA DERRYADD WIND FARM PUBLIC INFORMATION
Bord na Mona will be holding  a public information session regarding the development of the proposed Derryadd wind Farm, in The Hill,Newtowncashel, on Friday the 29th of January from 3.00 p.m until 9.00 p.m.
Bord na Mona invites you to attend this Public Information Session. Staff will be on hand to discuss thye project.

DEATH
The death occurred recently of John Hughes Snr.,formerly of the Pier,Lisnacusha. .He and his family were much admired and respected by all from Cashel.John was well known to the people of Newtowncashel,and was a great character in his days working around our locality. Funeral in Nottingham,England .To his heartbroken family,we extend our deepest sympathies.May his Soul Rest in Peace.

ART CLASSES
Beginner classes Thu mornings 10.30–12.30pm Commencing 21st January at Bridgeways Dean Egan Resource Centre Ballymahon.
Fee  €10 per session.
Learn about drawing, colour/painting and art appreciation.Please bring along sketching things, sketchpad, 2b – 5b pencils, willow charcoal, soft eraser, notebook, etc. It is hoped to plan an outing to The National Gallery in May.
Improver sessions continue 20th Jan Wednesday evenings 7 - 9at
Sisters Mercy house, Main St.

LONGFORD VTOS
The Longford VTOS programme is now recruiting.  It offers full time business and computer training free of charge.  To qualify you must be over 21 and in receipt of a social welfare payment.  If you are interested contact Maeve Madden, VTOS Co-ordinator at  087 2050589.
