CEMETERY SUNDAY
Cemetery Sunday for Cashel Cemetery.takes place this Sunday the 25th of August
Mass at 12 Noon.
People attending are asked to co-operate with the stewards on the day. Anyone with special requirements are asked to contact any member of the Cemetery Committee.
There will be a collection taken up at the Cemetery.This collection is optional and funds go towards the maintenance and upkeep of our Cemeteries,

LADY WELL
The Lady Well Pattern Day takes place on 8th of September at 11 a.m.  

DEATH
The death occurred on Wednesday the 14th of August, of Shirley Marlowe, Derryhaun.
Shirley was a light hearted, bubbly young woman, who was taken from us way too soon. A kind ,hard working lady, her passing will leave a great void in the lives of all those who loved and knew her.
Pre deceased by her father Jim,to her mother Mary, sister Marie, brothers David and James, partner Michael, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends we extend our deepest sympathies in their time of great grief.
May her Soul Rest in Peace.

Well done to the Cashel Senior team and mentors on their victory in the Championship last weekend.
They now play Ardagh/Moydow next Saturday in Pearse Park..Please support.

DEATH
The death occurred of James (Jimmy) Farrell, Derryhaun, on Sunday the 11th of August last.
Jimmy was a loving husband and father , who worked hard all his life and always had a great sense of humour.  A great neighbour, he always had a kind word for all those that he met.
His passing will leave a great void in the lives of all those who loved and knew him.
To his wife Eileen, son Jesse, daughters Sandra, Jacqueline, Denise and Cynthia, sisters Nora, Chris and Maura, brothers-in-law George Evans, Jim Monaghan, Sonny Mc Ardle, Michael Mc Ardle and Liam Mc Ardle, sister-in-law Bridie Healy and Annie May Smyth, sons-in-law, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, neighbours and friends, we extend our deepest sympathies in their time of great grief.
May his Soul Rest in Peace.

LEAVING CERT
Well done to all who received their Leaving Cert results last week.

CAFÉ
Longford Alzheimer cafe will return after their summer break, on Wednesday evening next 28th August at 7.00 pm. in the room at the back of Longford Credit Union.  Entrance and car parking facility are at the rear of the building, between Longford Shopping Centre and Longford Motor taxation office. Guest Speaker on the night is Annmarie Keogh, and her topic is Speech and Language Therapy for Dementia..This is an information and social evening with tea, coffee, and refreshments been served.
