RALLY
The parish of Cashel was witness to a magnificent spectacle last Sunday ,when the powerful cars  in the Midland Moto Rally,powered along the roads of our parish.This was a sight to behold,and from very early on in the morning the cars could be heard ,resonating through the air of a beautiful clear and sunny day,It was tremendous to see so many visitors and spectators watching the highly talented drivers and navigators perform and it would be brilliant if this spectacle became an annual event in our parish.Special mention must go to the organisers,on having such a well run and highly professional event.Well done to all..

SYMPATHY
We extend our deepest sympathy to Mary Tiernan,Collum and her family,on the death of her brother Laurence Byrne,Castlekelly ,Dublin recently.May his Soul Rest in Peace.

WALKING GROUP
The Walking Group continues on Saturday mornings leaving The Hill at
10.00 a.m. All are welcome.

SOUTHERN GAELS
Southern Gaels/Cashel GAA have our second & final minor club registration day on Sunday next in Clubhouse at12 noon for any child not yet registered. A signed Parent/Guardian Registration/Consent form is required before your child or children are permitted to take part in any of our club GAA training activities and matches from age U6 right up to and including U18. Registration fee is €10 per child for the full year’s activities.
Anyone who wishes to renew or take out new membership with Senior Club will also be facilitated (€30 membership for year).

ADORATION
Please note that there will be no Adoration of The Blessed Sacrament on this Wednesday the 23rd of March;neither will there be any on Wednesday the 30th of March.Adoration will continue on April the 6th.Adorere are asked to come along on Holy Thursday any time from 9.30 p.m. until midnight.

THE LOCAL
There will be music by Ita Tighe this Easter Saturday night and Friday the 1st of April kicks off our Annversary weekend with music by Macey South.

SYMPATHY
We extend our deepest sympathy to Mick Casey and his family,Derryhaun,on the death of his brother Pat Casey.Funeral took place last Saturday the 19th of March last in Cork.May his Soul Rest in Peace.

KNOCK
"A Bus will travel to Knock on Sunday 3rd April, Divine Mercy Sunday, leaving Ballymahon at 10.00a.m.     It will collect passengers in Edgeworthstown, Carrickboy, Ballymahon, Derrahawn and Lanesboro.     To travel with the group please contact Mary at 09064-32126 or Sr. Vincent at 09064-32532."

VACANCY
St.Mary's National School is seeking a person to supply caretaking services at the school from April the 1st next,Duties include,grasscutting,sweeping and general maintenance around the school.Must supply their own mower/tractor and equipment.Applications in writing to the Chairperson B.O.M. CAIRDE BEG
Cairde Beag enrolment is now open for September 2016 and with the introduction of the second free preschool year, meaning a child can avail of free preschool from the age of 3 years, places are very limited.  If your child was born between 1st January 2012 and 31st August 2013 then your child is eligible for free preschool in September.  I have 2 spaces left so if you or someone that you know has a child who is eligible but has not already booked them in then please contact me as soon as possible on 0863175753.
