NEWTOWNCASHEL DRAMA
Newtowncashel Drama Group is only one week from curtain up, in this our 31st year in the fine tradition of amateur drama. "Too Close to home" a three act comedy written by Westmeath born Jimmy Keary, will be staged in The Hill, Newtowncashel, on the nights of the 5th, 6th, 7th & 8th of March.  Featuring James Ryan, aspiring playwright trying to write a play and struggling to find inspiration. Presuming they will never see it, he decides to write about the people he knows and the antics they get up to, with hilarious consequences. Set in the present day the audience will be introduced to a multitude of colourful characters played by our talented local cast. We operate a ticket only policy to ensure no overcrowding or cramped seating, please call 086 252 1536 to reserve tickets. Price is €10 for adults and third level and €5 for primary and secondary school children. Doors opening at 8:00pm and play commencing at 8:30pm. We hope you can join us for what is sure to be another great nights entertainment!

CEMETERIES COMMITTEE
The following is the new Cemeteries Committee formed at the re-convened A.G.M.
Chairman;Donal Farrell.
Vice Chairman and Secretary;Martin Skelly.
Treasurer;Patrick Clarke.
Saint's Island Representatives;John (Sonny)Clarke and John Flanagan.
Cashel Representatives;Tom Murray and Tom Fagan.
The formation of the committee ensures the continuation of the scheme under which the cemeteries are maintained.Once again we thank the outgoing committee for their tremendous work in maintaining and enhancing the cemeteries during the past 22 years.

MONSTER AUCTION
Newtowncashel Community games are holding a Monster Auction at 1pm on Sunday 19th of April in the Hall in Newtowncashel. We will be using the funds raised to purchase much needed sports equipment in order for the children of the parish to be able to participate in Events and Activities.  Your support will be greatly appreciated and we hope you can help by donating something for sale on the day or purchasing a bargain.
We are looking for quality items such as Firewood, DIY and garden tools, Toys, Books, DVD’s, Paintings, Household Goods, Vouchers etc. to be auctioned on the day. All items considered.
We are also looking for Cakes, buns, jams, tarts etc. that can be sold separately.
