MONSTER AUCTION
Newtowncashel Community games are holding a Monster Auction at 1pm on Sunday 19th of April in the Hall in Newtowncashel. We will be using the funds raised to purchase much needed sports equipment in order for the children of the parish to be able to participate in Events and Activities. Your support will be greatly appreciated and we hope you can help by donating something for sale on the day or purchasing a bargain.
We are looking for quality items such as Firewood, DIY and garden tools, Toys, Books, DVD’s, Paintings, Household Goods, Vouchers etc. to be auctioned on the day. All items considered.
We are also looking for Cakes, buns, jams, tarts etc. that can be sold separately.

HARVEST FESTIVAL
The Harvest Festival will be held in Newtowncashel on Sunday the 23rd of August, commencing at 12.00 noon. This will be the festival's third consecutive visit to Newtowncashel, thanks to the availability and suitability of the site and the success of the event on the two previous occasions. FINE GAEL
Newtowncashel Branch of Fine Gael hold their A.G.M. in The Hill on Monday the 30th of March at 9.00 p.m. All members please attend and new members are welcome.
DAFFODIL DAY
Daffodil Day take place this Friday the 27th of March.Daffodils are available in Kenny's Country Store and donations are optional.
JUNIOR CHOIR
Junior Choir rehearsals take place this Sunday after 10.30 a.m.

DEATH
The death occured last Saturday the 21st of March, of Frank Casey, Cornadough and late of Lisnagan. Frank was one of life's true gentlemen and his passing will leave a great void in the lives of all those close to him .He was a hardworking man all his life and was pre-
