GOOD2TALK
Good2Talk is a non profit organisation with charitable status. We offer counselling and psychotherapy to individuals, families, couples and teenagers on a contribution basis. No more than €25, regardless of you income, you can access an effective professional counsellor within 72 hours of contacting our service. We help clients overcome low mood, panic, worry, depression, low self esteem, addiction, bereavement, anger and trauma.

NEWTOWNCASHEL DRAMA STAGE 'THE FIELD'
Newtowncashel Drama Group are delighted to announce that this years production will be 'The Field',a highly acclaimed masterpiece by playwright  John. B. Keane. The play will be staged in early March, twenty eight years from it's first staging in 'The Hill'.Further details to follow over the coming weeks.

TABLE QUIZ
There will be a Table Quiz ,in aid of St.Lukes ,,in The Pier,Liscnacusha, this Friday night the 29th of January ,commencing at 9.00 p.m. Tables of four is €40.00.Raffle on the night.Please do come along for what promises to be a great evening out for a worthy cause.

NATIONAL SCHOOL ENROLEMENT
St. Mary's N.S. Enrolment for September 2016, takes place from 1st February to 5th February.  Enrolment packs can be collected from the school and relevant forms returned during this period.

NEWTOWNCASHEL COMMUNITY GAMES
Congratulations to our U16 draught team who won the County final at the weekend, team consisted of Eoin Mulvihill, Emma Casey, Brian Kelly, David Sweeney, Luke Mulvihill and Joseph Kenny.
Best of luck going forward to the North Leinster competition now.
Hard luck to our other three teams who missed out in a place in the Finals. All three teams got to the semi-finals but unfortunately it wasn’t there day.
U10 team was Keira Hopkins, Brendan Mulvihill, Ellen O’Boyle, Alan O’Reilly, Sadie Boardman, Mathew Kenny and Lucas Moynihan.
U12 team was Rian O’Boyle, Dean Farrell, Aidan Mulvihill, Conor Farrell, Chloe Hopkins and Amelia Boardman
U14 team was Harry Murray, Luke O’Boyle, Conor Farrell, Rosin Kenny and Josh Mulvihill.
Thanks very much to John Mulvihill for coaching and mentoring all these teams again this year.
Indoor Soccer and Futsal competitions are coming up soon and also Art and model making.
Training continues every Friday evening with table tennis and indoor soccer on Sundays.
Anyone that hasn’t registered for the year please contact Ray Moynihan or any committee member for form.

CAIRDE BEG
Cairde Beag enrolment is now open for September 2016 and with the introduction of the second free preschool year, meaning a child can avail of free preschool from the age of 3 years, places are very limited.  If your child was born between 1st January 2012 and 31st August 2013 then your child is eligible for free preschool in September.  I have 2 spaces left so if you or someone that you know has a child who is eligible but has not already booked them in then please contact me as soon as possible on 0863175753.

BORD NA MONA DERRYADD WIND FARM PUBLIC INFORMATION
Bord na Mona will be holding  a public information session regarding the development of the proposed Derryadd wind Farm, in The Hill,Newtowncashel, on Friday the 29th of January from 3.00 p.m until 9.00 p.m.
Bord na Mona invites you to attend this Public Information Session. Staff will be on hand to discuss the project.

ART CLASSES
Beginner classes Thu mornings 10.30–12.30pm Commencing 21st January at Bridgeways Dean Egan Resource Centre Ballymahon.
Fee  €10 per session.
Learn about drawing, colour/painting and art appreciation.Please bring along sketching things, sketchpad, 2b – 5b pencils, willow charcoal, soft eraser, notebook, etc. It is hoped to plan an outing to The National Gallery in May.
Improver sessions continue 20th Jan Wednesday evenings 7 - 9at

LONGFORD VTOS
The Longford VTOS programme is now recruiting.  It offers full time business and computer training free of charge.  To qualify you must be over 21 and in receipt of a social welfare payment.  If you are interested contact Maeve Madden, VTOS Co-ordinator at  087 2050589.
