VILLAGE CLEANUP
The Tidy Towns are thankful to all who came out last Monday evening to clean up the village with their tractors, blowers, washers, and brushes.
The final judging takes place this week and it is hoped the village can retain its place right at the top.

The Walking Group continues on Saturday mornings leaving The Hill at 10.00 a.m. All are welcome.
TRIP
A trip to the Fr.Patrick Peyton Memorial Centre ,Atytymass,Co.Mayo will take place on Tuesday the 26th of July 2016. The cost is €30 including refreshments,lunch and entertainment, Coach departs Kenagh at 9.00 a.m.,returning at 6.00 p.m. approx..To secure a place,please contact Rose Egan,kenagh,by post including contact details and payment.
LONGFORD VTOS
The Longford VTOS programme is now recruiting. It offers full time business and computer training free of charge.
To qualify you must be over 21 and in receipt of a social welfare payment.
