NEWTOWNCASHEL ICA
Our last meeting before our summer break takes place on tuesday 4th june in The Hill at 8pm. We would like to thank everyone who attended our last meeting to commerate 30 years of the current guild in Newtowncashel. It was lovely to see so many familar faces on the night and some lovely memories were shared over a cuppa. We had a very enjoyable craft class on the 17th May, where we created beautiful pictures from recycled materials. Thanks to Nora for organising the evening. Pitch and Putt practise sessions continue on Thursday evenings in Ballinalee at 7pm. As always see our facebook page for further details.
DEATH
The death occurred last Sunday the 26th of May , of Bernard (Bernie) Casey, Lisnagan.
Bernie was a hardworking , honest decent family man , who always had a kind word and a smile for all those that he met. His hard working ethic was always evident, whether on the farm or as aplayer on the successful Cashel GAA teams of the 80s

FREE TRANSPORT
The Irish Cancer Society operates a free transport service for patients attending hospital for chemotherapy treatment. Volunteer Drivers pick the patient up at the door of their home, drop them at the hospital door, then when finished treatment, will pick them up and drop them home. Volunteer expenses are paid.
