FOROIGE CLUB
All parents of young people 12 - 18 years and adults interested in setting up of a Foróige Club in this area are welcome to attend
and support this meeting on 26th March 2014 at 8:30pm in The Hill.
Foróige Clubs offer young people the opportunity to run the club themselves in cooperation with their adult volunteers, learn new things, make friends and have a great time along the way.
Be part of Foróige’s vision of an Ireland that believes in every young person.

NATIONAL SCHOOL
St.Mary's National School has set up a nwe website at the following address  newtowncashel.scoilnet.ie  New items and photographs will be displayed on this site,facilitating those who wish to keep up to date with events at the school.
Enrolment forms for September 2014 must be returned to the school immediately.

PARADE
Congratulations to all those who represented St.Mary's National School in the Ballyleague/Lanesboro St.Patrick's Parade.Their entry,'Biodiversity',was awarded the 'Best Junior Float' plaque for the fourth year in succession.

LENREC lTD.
Lenrec Ltd,clothes recyclers, will collect new and used clothing,shoes,belts,handbags,ties,linens,household textiles,stuffed toys, etc.,in any condition once they are clean.Collection is on Wednesday the 26th of March.Bags should be left at the school gate or the sheds at the rear,before 9.30 a.m.

TABLE QUIZ
A Table Quiz in aid of the Harvest Festival will be held in Gav's Bar,Kenagh,on Friday the 28th of March,commencing at 8.30 p.m. Table of four is €40.00.Proceeds in aid of St.Christophers.

CONFIRMATION
Congratulations to the children who were Confirmed last Saturday the 22nd of March.Our thanks to Bishop Francis Duffy and all who did so much to make it a memorable day.
The final session of the 'You shall be my Witness' programme,will take place in 'The Hill' this Friday the 28th of March at 7.00 p.m.

TABLE QUIZ
Longford Toastmasters are holding a Table Quiz in Longford Rugby Club on Thursday the 27th of March at 9pm (team registration at 8.30pm). Table of four persons cost 40 euro.  Raffle and spot prizes on the night. All welcome.

DAFFODIL DAY
This Friday,the 28th of March is Daffodil Day,a day designated for support for Cancer research.Your  support on the day would be very much appreciated.

REPRESENTATIONS
Michael Brennan,former County Councillor,wishes to state that he is actively trying to secure the County Council to maintain the patch of ground at Derryadd,close to his home and place of birth.Hwe wants the people of Cashel and Kenagh to know that he still has their interests close to his heart and that if anybody wants him to do anything for them,to please contact him.
