Bar-B-Q Success.
Cashel G.A.A. held a very succesful Bar-B-Q last weekend in the Quarry park in the Village.A great turnout was blessed with good weather and all the local talent performing were brilliant..Particular attention must go to the Storyteller,who entertained old and young alike,with so many great stories about the past.The food,music and craic was second to none.Thanks to all involved for staging such an entertaining event.

TIDY TOWNS
The monthly Tidy Towns meeting,will be held in 'The Hill' this wednesday the 7th of August at 8.30p.m.

Best of luck to the Cashel Senior Footbal team who play Kenagh in the second round of the Championship this weekend.

WEDDING BELLS
Congratulations to Jean Ryder,Ballinahinch and David Bermingham who were married on Friday last the 2nd of August.

TABLE QUIZ
The Harvest Festival organisers hold a Table Quiz in The Peer Inn,Lisnacusha this Friday the 9th of August at 9.30.p.m.Entrance fee is €40.00 per table.Proceeds in aid of St.Christophers,Newtowncashel Tidy Towns and Cashel G.A.A..The annual social and rafflein aid of St.Christophers will not beheld in Newtowncashel this year.In lieu,all findraising energiesare being assigned to the Harvest FestivalPatronsare asked to support accordingly.

CEMETERY SUNDAYS
Saint's Island;18th of August.
Cashel Cemetery;25th of August.
Mass and prayers for the dead is at 6.00 p.m.The Masses will replace the 10.30 a.m Mass in the Church.

PATTERN DAY
Pattern Day will be celebrated at Lady Well,Derrydarragh,on Saturday the 7th of September,eve of the birthday of the Blessed Virgin Mary.Mass follows recitation of the Rosary at 6.00p.m.The Mass will replace the Saturday evening Mass in the Church.
