BOIL WATER NOTICE
A Boil Water Notice was issued by  Irish Water and Longford County Council on Wednesday the 3rd of September. Most of the Southern half of the Parish of Cashel is affected. Specific details, advice and instructions are given with the notice.

DEFIBRILLATOR GROUP
The Newtowncashel Defibrillator Group hold their A.G.M.  on Wednesday the  17th of  September ,at 8.00 p.m. in the G.A.A. Clubhouse. Your support will be appreciated and new members are most welcome. Training is ongoing. Would be participants are urged to contact any member without hesitation.

I.C.A.
Congratulations to Monica Healy who won 2nd prize in federation garden competition. Presentation of prizes will take place at federation meeting on Wed. 24th Sept. In Ballinamuck. Monthly walk will take place in Newtowncashel on Sun. 28th Sept. @ 3pm starting at "The Hill".  Refreshments will be served. Patchwork classes starting soon in Newtownforbes. Aqua aerobics each Mon. Night in Mall. There's something for everybody in I.C.A. Next guild meeting Tues.7th Oct., New members are always welcome.

WEDDING
We extend congratulations to both Philip Ginty and Mary Bomba,who were married on the 20th of August last.

STATION MASSES
The Autumn Station Masses will be celebrated from the 6th to the 30th of October . Householders who are to host the stations may arrange dates when convenient if they have not already done so.

PATTERN DAY
This Sunday the 14th of September is Pattern Day in Clonmacnois. Devotions and Mass at 3.00 p.m. Bishop Francis Duffy is principal Celebrant and Preacher.

IRISH DANCING LESSONS
The O' Reilly/Bransfield School of Irish Dancing have resumed after the Summer break. Class is every Thursday, in the Hall in Newtowncashel 5pm - 6pm, all new pupils welcome.  Any enquires please text Carole on 087 7181698.
