DEATH
The death occurred on Tuesday the 4th of February last of John Donlon,Derryhaun. The word 'Legend' is used a lot in these times, sometimes when it is not really merited, but in John's case the word Legend is truly applicable. One of the most popular and talented people to hail from Cashel,John left his mark on whatever he chose to do.His footballing achievements, political achievements etc are well documented, but he was also one of the most wonderfully colourful characters one is, or has ever met.He was also a wonderful father and family man, and his passing will leave a tremendous void, in the lives of all those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
To his wife Maureen, daughters Pamela and Olivia, sons Seán, Barney, Michael, Eamonn, Timmy and Niall and all his relatives and friends,we extend our deepest sympathies.May his Soul Rest in Peace.
