FIRST HOLY COMMUNION
Last Sunday was First Holy Communion Day in Newtowncashel.Ten children recieved the Sacrament and the event was blessed with good weather.
Thanks to all involved for making it such a special day for all involved.

COMMUNITY GAMES QUIZ
We wish the very best of lucy to the six children involvwd in the Community Games National Quiz Final in Athlone this coming weekend! Representing Newtowncashel and Longford are Lochlann Healy, Jamie Birmingham, Eoin Mulvihill, Brian Kelly, Molly Fox and Áine Bannon. We know that they and their mentor have put in some very hard work over the last number of weeks and we know that they will do themselves proud! Good luck!
