CONCERN FAST
The Concern Fast and Church Gate Collection takes place on December 6th and 7th. We are again asking for your support. Concern are working hard in Africa to help the poorest of the poor. The threat of the deadly Ebola viru is a serious problem in West Africa and once again we really need your support.
PIONEER'S
A Regional Pioneer Meeting will be held in Tealach Íosa (The McGoey Hall), St. Mel’s Road/Chapel Street, Longford, on Thursday 27th, at 8.30 p.m.
The meeting will finalise the affairs of the Dinner Dance and discuss other recent events.

St. Christopher’s “Pop Up” Christmas Craft Shop will be located in Longford Shopping Centre car park from Monday 1st December to Saturday 20th. An opportunity to buy Christmas gifts all made in Longford.

G.A.A. Southern Gales Minor Club hold a presentation night for children in “The Hill” on Wednesday, 3rd December, at 7.30. Guest speaker is Micheál O’Muircheartaigh. All are welcome.
DRAMA
Newtowncashel Drama Group wishes to congratulate everyone involved in the All Ireland One Act Festival tour. We are delighted to announce that the group placed 2nd in An Grianán Theatre, Letterkenny, Co Donegal with our play "Cliffs Edge" by Paul Beard, as well as being awarded the Adjudicators Special Award. Work on our 3 act play has began and we look forward to producing another fine play for fans of amateur drama. Help is always appreciated, both on stage and behind the scenes, if anyone wishes to get involved we would be delighted to welcome you to our group.
