LONGFORD HOSPICE FUNDRAISER
Following the hugely successful production of 'Callaghan's Place', Newtowncashel Drama Group will restage 'Callaghan's Place' by John McDwyer in 'The Hill', Newtowncashel on Sunday March 3rd at 8.30 p.m. Admission by ticket only - adults €10, students (primary and secondary) €5. Tickets can be reserved by calling David Hanley on (086) 8222 655.

TEEN MASS
A full rehearsal for all participants in the upcoming Teen Mass on March 10th will be held in the Church on Saturday March 2nd, from 7.00pm sharp to 7.45pm.

WEDDING CONGRATULATIONS
Congratulations to Maura Skelly and Rory Brehon who were married on Friday February 22nd.  We wish them luck and happiness.

INFORMATION EVENING
County Longford VEC hosts an Information Evening in the Longford Arms Hotel on Monday February 25th from 5.00pm – 7.30pm to provide adults with information and advice on full time and part time VEC courses. All are welcome.

EARLY MORNING LENTEN MASSES
During Lent, Mass will be celebrated at 7.00am on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.  This arrangement will give a greater number of people an opportunity to go to Mass during Lent.

STATIONS OF THE CROSS
The Stations of the Cross is a devotion that may be performed at any time of the year but is particularly suited to the Lenten Season.  Instead of the Rosary, the Way of the Cross will be followed in the Church on the Fridays of Lent at 7.30pm.  All are urged to make a special effort to participate in this traditional devotion.

ADORATION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT
Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament continues on Wednesdays from 3.00pm to 9.00pm.  All are welcome.

LOURDES PILGRIMAGE
The Annual Pilgrimage takes place from May 27th to June 1st, and the organisers request the names of sick people who would like to join the pilgrimage.  Names should be submitted as soon as possible please to Elizabeth Clyne (043) 332 5156.
The recent Lourdes Sick Pilgrims’ Collection realised €530.00.  The organisers thank the collectors and all who contributed so generously.  The fund is used to subsidise the air fare of sick or assisted people who join the Diocesan Pilgrimage.

STATIONS
The Spring Stations will conclude this week.  The households hosting the upcoming stations this week are as follows:
CLERAUN AND LISMAGAWLEY, Monday February 25th, at the home of Anna and James Costello;
FORTHILL, Tuesday February 26th, at the home of Rachael and Mark Bermingham;
CROSS AND CLARAS, Thursday February 28th, at the home of Gráinne and Joseph Mulvihill.
Confessions at 7.45pm. Mass at 8.00pm.
