TIDY TOWNS
Newtowncashel Tidy Towns Committee holds it's monthly meeting in The Hill,this wednesday the 2nd of July,at 8.30 p.m. Once again,all are asked to be vigilant with regard litter disposal and control.

The Newtowncashel Branch of St.Christophers Longford wish to thank everyone who contributed to their recent Churchgate collection.Also,the members of the branch,who took up the collection.A sincere thanks to one and all.

Longford Federation I.C.A. are holding a Craft Fair and Floral Display in the Temperance Hall Longford on Sat. 5th July starting @ 10am. There will be lots of crafters with jewellery making and basket weaving demonstrations, also a cafe with some delicious home baking.
Irish TV are coming to film the event. Everyone is welcome and admission is free.
HARVEST FESTIVAL
The Harvest Festival Committee will meet in Gav's Bar,this Friday night the 4th of July,at 9.00 p.m.It is important that all members attend.
On Sunday, the 13th of July ,a sponsored 5k Walk takes place along the Grand Canal, Kenagh, commencing at 12.00 noon.
Finally,a Table Quiz,will be held in The Chestnut Tree,Kilashee,on Friday the 25th of June at 9.00 p.m. Entry fee is €40.00 per table.
WEDDING
We extend congratulations to both Marie Collins and Hugh O Kane,who were married last Friday the 27th of June.

PASTORAL COUNCIL
A meeting of the Parish Pastoral Council,takes place in The Hill on Wednesday the 9th of July at 8.30 p.m.
CEMETERY SUNDAYS
Saint's Island Cemetery,24th of August.
Cashel Cemetery,31st of August.
These Masses will replace the 10.30 a.m. Mass in the Church.
PATTERN DAY
Pattern Day will be celebrated at Lady well,Derrydarragh,on Saturday the 6th of September.Mass follows recitation of the Rosary at p.m. This Mass will replace the Saturday evening Mass in the Church.
