Road Closures
For health and safety during the Two Provinces Sprint Triathlon & Kidathon on Saturday 11 July, the following road closures are going to be in place:
The R371 from Ballyleague to Scramoge on the 11 July from 11:00-14:00
The Rathcline Road from entrance to event car park to Harolds Cross on the 11 July from 11:30-14:30
MS Longford Annual Fund Raising
The event welcomes participants of all ages and abilities
11km route starts at ‘The Hill’ Newtowncashel and finishes with a presentation and refreshments for all at St. Mary’s Hall in Lanesborough
Walkers - Start at 10:00
Runners - Start at 10:30

Longford Agricultural Show
This Sunday all roads lead to Ennybegs N39 Wk53 for this years Agricultural show, a big day in the calendar of rural life.
There’s something for all the family, from the very young to our seniors, with all animal classes, dog show, crafts, food, music, you’ll be spoiled for choice.
