Wedding Bells:
We join with family and friends in congratulating Ger Clyne, Cashel and Claire Lynch from Callen, Co. Kilkenny following their marriage in St Marys Church, Newtowncashel on Sat last. The young couple were joined by family and friends for the happy occasion and the reception was held in the Hodson Bay Hotel where we believe a special guest called Toby made an appearance. Wishing you both a long, healthy and happy life together in your new home in Ballina, Cashel.

The following were the winners at Monday night 25 card drive in the Local.

Bereavement:
We express our sincere sympathy to the Quaine family, Taghshinny on the passing of Eugene which occurred on Monday last at his home, following an illness. Our thought and with his sisters Kathleen Clarke and Bernie Farrell, Cashel and the wider Quaine families at this time.
Eugene was a man steeped in the GAA tradition and devoted a big part of his life to the game. May his gentle spirit rest easy in your native place.

Cashel played Fr Manning Gaels on Sunday last in the intermediate championship and came away victories by a big margin.

Cemetery Sunday takes place in St Island on August 23rd at 1pm. A gentle reminder to those with graves there.

Probably one of the most important fundraising projects in the parish and for the future of families and education in Cashel.
